KOVA SK6 moisture-resistant mastic is a 2-component mastic made from hydrophobic (Hydrophobic) monomers, resistant to moisture thanks to the hydrophobicity in the molecular formula. Good adhesion on all surfaces of concrete, cement, brick... Can be used to cover masonry walls, skirtings, floors, yard floors or as a screed for floor tiles, for all applications. both civil and industrial constructions

CONSTRUCTION INSTRUCTIONS
SURFACE PREPARATION
- All surfaces must be dry and free of dirt, grease, moss, lime, old paint.
- For new walls or new foundations, it is necessary to wait at least 12-15 days for the cement structure to stabilize before applying mastic.
- For tennis courts, concrete must be allowed to dry for a minimum of 21 days.
- It is necessary to moisten the surface of the material before applying mastic SK-6.
- Step 1: Mix the powder component into the liquid component into a homogeneous paste. If it is thick, it can be mixed with enough water to make it easy to apply (When mixing the two components, it must be applied within 1 hour, after that time the mastic will harden and the quality will decrease. there).
- Step 2: Use a trowel to apply 2-3 layers of SK-6 mastic, each layer is spaced 6-8 hours apart (can be left overnight).
- Step 3: Allow to dry for at least 8-12 hours, sand the surface to be flat and smooth. Wipe off the mastic dust, before proceeding with the paint roller.
- Allow layer SK-6 to dry for at least 1 day before applying the next steps. If the mastic is dry or too thick, you can add about 5 - 15% water during use
