PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

KOVA Metallic Emulsion Paint is a water-based emulsion paint that, when applied to all surfaces, creates a high-gloss finish, the surface with a golden metallic luster effect. This paint finish is durable over time, can withstand harsh weather and can be used to decorate special structures: religious buildings, temples, monuments, hotels, centers commercial center, amusement park, etc…

SUPERIOR CHARACTERISTICS

Applicable surface: Concrete surface, cement mortar, plaster, wood. Emulsion paint can be sprayed on thorn paint, brocade paint, metal, plastic composite
Theoretical norm: 5.0 - 6.0m ² /kg/ 02 layers. Depending on construction requirements, surface and construction techniques
Dry Thickness: Average dry thickness: 25-35 m/1 layer
Tools: Pressure spray gun

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Metal must be anti-rust with water-based anti-rust paint KOVA KG-01 before applying primer for emulsion paint.
• Concrete, cement, plaster must be absolutely flat.
• New walls: must be allowed to dry and stabilize the structure (minimum 12-15 days), clean from dust and dirt.
• Old wall: must remove grease, moss, paint layers, old lime, then wash thoroughly with clean water and let dry.

CONSTRUCTION

Step 1: Clean the surface of the mortar to ensure there is no dirt or grease that reduces the adhesion of emulsion paint, rough walls or concrete must be ground relatively flat.
Step 2: Apply 2 coats of Mastic (indoor/outdoor) to smooth the construction surface, each layer of Mastic is 3-4 hours apart (If not flat, the emulsion paint will not look good).
Step 3: Apply 01-02 coats of primer, let dry for 3-4 hours.
Step 4: Apply 02 layers of emulsion paint by spray gun, each layer is at least 3-4 hours apart. Allow to dry for at least 8 hours before using.

The working environment must be well ventilated. Wear gloves, masks and eye protection while working. In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor immediately. Please refer to the latest technical and safety documentation before use.
